London Parliament Trip
Last term, some of our students had the incredible opportunity to visit London, and some of it's most iconic landmarks. Here's what the students had to say about the trip.
“My favourite part about the trip to London was having a slims chicken with everyone at school.
“The most surprising part about the trip was seeing a war ship that was at sea for 25 years and it had 9 floors in total with cannons on the front. Wish we got to walk around.
“I felt nervous seeing loads of police carrying guns and found it interesting.
“Parliament building was huge and was covered in red, green and gold carpets, chairs and decorations.
“I learned that you are allowed to go to parliament to watch the debates. Even though i had been to London before, i was shocked how loud the trains were.”
Alfie P
“The trip to London was Phenomenal!
“The houses of parliament was georgous. We got to see the last throne Queen Victoria had sat on. I saw an orginal painting of Anne Boleyn and made memories and bonds i thought i never would”
Carter S
“The school took 6 of us to London. We saw lots of London landmarks and had a tour of parliament. I loved it and my favourite thing was walking through thr lords chamber and splashing in the fountain in Leicester Square. I am very grateful for the experience.”

“It was exciting to get the train to London. We arrived in London and went on the underground, it was a bit scary but fun, and it was very busy.
“We walked over tower bridge and went to the houses of parliament. On the way we seen a big ship called the HMS Belfast.
“At the houses of parliament we seen big ben and we went to the house of lords. We ate at slim chicken.
“It was the best day ever.”

“As i have never been London before it was a fun experience. I liked going on the underground trains. Seeing all the big buildings was great. I enjoyed seeing buckingham palace and big ben.
“I think we should do more trips like this as it made everyone become more close and built friendships.”
Lillie B
It’s fair to say that our trip to London was a fantastic success! A huge thank you to the students in attendance for their engagement and enthusiasm, and to the staff who worked hard to make this memorable experience possible.
